NOTICE OF ELECTION 

South Utah Valley Electric Service District - 2023 ELECTIONS

An election for the position of trustee for South Utah Valley Electric Service District (SESD) to represent the geographic service area (district) currently served by SESD will be held on November 7, 2023. 

This election will be held for one trustee for each of the following geographic service areas (districts):

District 1: Payson Cyn/Arrowhead/Haskellville/Loafer/East of Salem 4-year term

District 2: East Bench/Riverbottoms/Covered Bridge/Mapleton            4-year term

District 3: West Mountain South (sorth of 10400 S.)                                         4-year term

Anyone desiring to become a candidate should file a “Declaration of Candidacy” at the SESD office at 803 North 500 East, Payson, Utah, between Tuesday, June 1, 2023 and Monday, June 7, 2023 during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday--Friday.  A candidate must be a registered voter, a resident of the SESD geographic service area which the candidate wishes to represent, a consumer of electricity from SESD, and a citizen of the United States of America.  Anyone declaring candidacy must provide documentation verifying that these qualifications are met (e.g. a registered voter certificate from the Utah County Clerk’s office).
